Fair Usage Policy

You agree not to use the service, or allow it to be used, to:

• Defame, harass, threaten, or otherwise violate the rights of others.
• Send, host, or distribute obscene, abusive, or unlawful material.
• Distribute viruses, malware, or other code intended to disrupt a network, system, or device.
• Submit content you do not have the legal right to submit.
• Infringe any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right.
• Interfere with or restrict any other user's use of the service, including by hacking or unauthorized access attempts.
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system, network, or security measure without authorization.
• Send unsolicited bulk messages, spam, chain mail, or run a pyramid scheme.
• Falsify or alter source-identifying information when sending data.
• Resell or attempt to resell the service to a third party without authorization.
• Engage in or facilitate cyber fraud, including financial or credit card fraud.
• Operate a server or collect third-party personal data without appropriate consent.

• You must comply with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable guidelines issued by MeitY and the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), including those governing the use of encryption.
• You may not use your connection to provide internet connectivity to third parties (i.e. unauthorized resale or interconnection).
• You may not link this connection to PSTN/ISDN/PLMN networks or use E.164 numbering, which is restricted under Indian telecom regulation.
• Voice applications over this connection must comply with applicable DoT/TRAI directives.
• You are solely responsible for any violation of the above and any resulting action by regulatory authorities or law enforcement.

Violations of this policy may be reported to law enforcement and could result in prosecution under applicable law. Megatel Networks will cooperate with law enforcement agencies investigating any alleged unlawful use of its services, and reserves the right to suspend service without notice where misuse is identified.

You agree to indemnify and hold Megatel Networks, its employees, and affiliates harmless against claims, losses, or liability arising from your misuse of the service. This obligation survives termination of your service for any reason.
